These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the One Changi’s Got Talent competition, (“Competition”) which is organised and administered by Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“CAG”). Throughout this document, CAG may be referred to as “CAG”, “Organiser”, “we”, “us”, or “our”, while participants may be referred to as “Participant”, “you”, or “your”.

By registering for this Competition and submitting the required materials, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) in their entirety. Your participation in any aspect of this Competition constitutes acceptance of these T&Cs.

The Competition is structured as a three-phase event consisting of (1) an Initial Registration and Video Submission Phase on CAG’s dedicated microsite, (2) followed by a semi-final Live Competition Phase for Participants who are successfully shortlisted based on their submitted materials; and (3) lastly by a Final Stage Performance for further short-listed Participants on 31st October 2025 at ONE Changi Fiesta (“Event”).

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  1. All Participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration for the Competition. The Organiser reserves the right to request official documentation proving age eligibility, and failure to provide such documentation when requested may result in disqualification from the Competition.
  2. Participants must be legal residents of Singapore and must be physically present in Singapore during the Live Competition Phase and Final Stage Performance.
  3. Participants must possess the legal capacity to enter into binding contractual agreements and must not be subject to any legal restrictions that would prevent their participation in public performances or competitions.

REGISTRATION

  1. The registration period for this Competition commences on 18 August 2025 at 0000hrs SGT and concludes on 5 September 2025 at 2359hrs SGT. Registration materials submitted outside of this timeframe will not be considered for participation in the Competition.
  2. All Participants must complete the registration process by providing accurate and complete information.
  3. Each Participant must submit a video recording of their performance that demonstrates their talent and meets specific technical requirements. The video must be between 60 seconds to 120 seconds in duration, submitted in an acceptable file format such as MP4, MOV, or AVI, not exceed the maximum file size of 200 MB, maintain a minimum resolution of 720p for adequate viewing quality, clearly showcase the Participant’s talent and performance abilities, consist of original footage recorded specifically for this Competition submission, and be free from any technical issues that would impair viewing quality.
  4. All registration materials, including personal information and video submissions, must be received by the Organiser no later than 5 September 2025 at 2359hrs SGT. Submissions received after this deadline will not be considered for participation, regardless of the reason for delay.
  5. Submission of materials does not guarantee performance in the Competition.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS AND RESTRICTION

  1. All performances, whether in submitted videos or during the Live Competition Phase or Final Stage Performance, must adhere to strict content standards and are prohibited from containing offensive language, derogatory remarks, or discriminatory content directed toward any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Performances must not include profanity, vulgar language, or inappropriate gestures that would be unsuitable for a general audience. Content that promotes violence, hatred, illegal activities, or harmful behavior toward others is strictly forbidden. Sexually explicit material, suggestive content, or performances of an adult nature are not permitted. Participants may not present material that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others without proper authorisation. Content that could be considered defamatory, libelous, or harmful to the reputation of any individual, organisation including the Organiser, or entity is prohibited.
  2. The Participants may perform in any category of talent, including but not limited to vocal performance, instrumental music, dance, comedy, magic etc. Participants must state their performance category during registration and perform within that category throughout the Competition.
  3. Group performances are welcomed and encouraged, with each group limited to a maximum of 8 members. All individual members of a group must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in these T&Cs. One designated member of each group must serve as the primary contact and representative for all communications and must complete the registration process on behalf of the entire group. All group members must be present and participate in the video submission, Live Competition Phase, and Final Stage Performance, if selected.
  4. While participants may perform covers, interpretations, or arrangements of existing musical works, comedic material, or other copyrighted content, they must ensure they have obtained all necessary rights and permissions for public performance. Participants are solely responsible for any licensing fees, royalty payments, or legal issues that may arise from their use of copyrighted material.

SELECTION AND JUDGING PROCESS

  1. All submitted registration materials and videos will undergo an initial screening process conducted by the Organiser’s selection panel, which will evaluate submissions for compliance with these T&Cs, technical quality standards, and overall performance merit. This screening process will determine which Participants advance to the Live Competition Phase.
  2. Participants who are selected to advance to the Live Competition Phase will be notified via the email address provided during registration no later than 19 September 2025. Selected Participants will receive detailed information about the Live Competition Phase, including specific performance requirements, schedule details, and venue information.
  3. The Live Competition Phase will be held at a date/time to be notified to the Participants at a later stage. During this phase, shortlisted Participants will perform live before an audience, and shortlisted Participants will be determined by the selection panel of ONE Changi leaders. The specific evaluation criteria will be explained to Participants prior to the Live Competition Phase.
  4. The shortlisted Participants from the Live Competition Phase will then proceed to the Final Stage Performance. This final phase of the Competition will be held on 31st October 2025 at ONE Changi Fiesta. During the Final Stage Performance, the Participants will once again perform live before an audience and the ONE Changi leaders judging panel. Final winners will be determined through audience popularity combined with evaluation by the selection panel of ONE Changi leaders. The specific voting mechanism and weighting between audience popularity and panel evaluation will be explained to Participants prior to the Final Stage Performance. The decision of the Organiser will be final and binding, and no appeals will be entertained.
  5. While further details will be provided to Participants at a later date, all performances will be evaluated based on demonstration of technical skill and talent within the chosen category, originality and creativity in presentation and content, stage presence and ability to engage and entertain the audience, quality of technical execution and professionalism, and overall entertainment value and impact on the audience. The judging panel reserves the right to consider additional factors in their evaluation as deemed appropriate. The decision of the Organiser regarding the winner of the Competition is final and binding on all Participants.
  6. During the Final Stage Performance, the “Best Fan Club” will be assessed by the ONE Changi Leaders’ selection panel based on the creativity and impact of the banner created to support each Participant finalised. Evaluation will take into account various non-exhaustive factors, including the originality, visual appeal, and effectiveness of the banner in demonstrating support for the relevant Participant. Detailed judging rubrics will be shared directly with the Participants who are finalists, who will each be responsible for rallying and forming their own fan clubs. The Organiser’s and judges’ decisions regarding the “Best Fan Club” will be final and binding.

PRIZES AND AWARDS

  1. Prizes will be awarded to the top 6 performers at the end of the Final Stage Performance and to the Participant with the “Best Fan Club”. The Organiser reserves the right to add, modify, or eliminate prize categories based on the number and quality of submissions received.
  2. Prizes will be awarded to the winners in the form of selected vouchers, in denominations to be determined and notified by the Organiser either during the Final Stage Performance or at such other time as the Organiser may deem appropriate. All prizes are awarded at the sole discretion of the Organiser based on performance evaluation and audience response, where applicable.
  3. Winners will be notified within 2 weeks following the conclusion of the Final Stage Performance through the contact information provided during registration.
  4. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash or other items. The Prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions which the winners acknowledge and agree they will comply with. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of similar value without prior notice, at its sole discretion.
  5. All winners are solely responsible for any taxes that may be applicable to prizes received and the winners acknowledge and agree that the prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions.

DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

  1. The Organiser collects and processes personal data that is necessary for the administration and management of this Competition, including full names and contact information, performance videos and related materials, and any additional information provided during the registration process.
  2. Personal data collected during registration and participation will be used for processing and managing the Competition entries and communications, verifying Participant eligibility and identity, facilitating the selection and judging process, administering prize distribution to winners, maintaining records for legal and administrative purposes, and complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. This will be carried out in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and the Organiser’s Privacy Policy (accessible here: https://www.changiairport.com/en/privacy-policy.html)

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND MEDIA RIGHTS

  1. All Participants warrant and represent that they possess all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to perform their chosen material in a public setting and that their performance does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser, our subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives from any claims arising from intellectual property violations.
  2. By participating in the Competition, the Participant grants the Organiser a comprehensive, royalty-free, worldwide license to record, photograph, videotape, and livestream their performances during all phases of the Competition. This grant includes the right to use Participant names, likenesses, voices, performances, and biographical information in promotional materials, marketing campaigns, social media content, and other publicity efforts related to the Competition. The Organiser may distribute these recordings and materials across various media platforms, including television, radio, internet, and print media, and may use such materials for future promotional purposes related to subsequent competitions or events.
  3. While Participants retain ownership of their original creative content and performances, they acknowledge that any intellectual property rights granted to the Organiser is perpetual and may be exercised without additional compensation. Participants understand that their performances may be edited, combined with other content, or used in compilation materials at the Organiser’s sole discretion.

LIABILITY AND RISK

  1. The Participant acknowledges and understands that participation in this Competition involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury during performance, equipment malfunction or failure, interaction with other Participants and audience members, and potential exposure to various hazards associated with live performance venues. Participants voluntarily assume all such risks and participate entirely at their own risk.
  2. By participating in this Competition, the Participant voluntarily release, discharge, and hold harmless the Organiser, its employees, directors, agents, contractors, partners, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from or related to personal injury, property damage, or other harm that may occur during participation in any phase of the Competition. This release includes claims arising from technical failures, equipment malfunctions, venue-related issues, disputes with other Participants, changes to Competition format or scheduling, and any other circumstances related to Competition participation.

COMPETITION RULES AND CONDUCT

  1. All Participants are expected to maintain the highest standards of conduct throughout their involvement in the Competition and must treat all other Participants, Competition staff, venue personnel, and audience members with respect and courtesy. Participants must comply with all venue rules, safety guidelines, and security procedures as directed by Competition officials or the Organiser’s representatives. All Participants are required to arrive punctually for scheduled appearances, rehearsals, and performances, and must follow all Competition rules, instructions, and directives issued by the Organiser or its representatives.
  2. Participants may be subject to immediate disqualification from the Competition for any violation of these T&Cs, submission of false, misleading, or incomplete information during registration, engaging in inappropriate conduct, harassment, or disruptive behavior towards other Participants, staff, or audience members, failure to appear for scheduled performances or Competition activities without prior notification and approval, presenting content that violates the performance standards and restrictions outlined in these T&Cs, or any other behaviour that the Organiser deems detrimental to the Competition or its Participants.
  3. Live performances during the Competition are limited to 5 minutes per act, including setup and breakdown time. Participants who exceed their allotted time may be subject to point deductions or disqualification as determined by the judging panel. All timing decisions made by Competition officials are final and not subject to appeal.
  4. The Organiser will provide basic sound and lighting equipment, microphones, and stage access, while Participants are responsible for bringing any specialised equipment, costumes, props etc required for their act. All personal equipment must meet safety standards and be approved by venue personnel prior to use. The Organiser is not responsible for any damage to or loss of Participant-owned equipment.

MODIFICATIONS AND CANCELLATION

  1. The Organiser reserves the right to modify any aspect of this Competition, including but not limited to rules and regulations, competition dates and scheduling, venue locations, prize structures and categories, judging criteria and procedures, and registration requirements.
  2. The Organiser may cancel, postpone, or suspend the Competition at any time due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, pandemics, government regulations, or other circumstances beyond the Organiser’s control. The Competition may also be cancelled due to insufficient participation levels, safety concerns that cannot be adequately addressed, technical, operational or logistical issues that prevent proper Competition administration, or other circumstances that make it impractical or inadvisable to proceed with the Competition as planned.
  3. In the event of Competition cancellation or significant modification, Participants will be notified as soon as reasonably possible through their registered contact information. The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience arising from such cancellation or modification.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  1. These T&Cs, the arbitration agreement contained herein (including a dispute relating to its existence, validity or termination) and any non-contractual obligation or other matter arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Singapore.
  2. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with these T&Cs, including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, shall, at our sole election, be referred to and finally resolved by:
    1. the courts of Singapore which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over such dispute, controversy or claim; or
    2. arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC“) in accordance with the arbitration rules of SIAC (“Rules“) for the time being in force, which Rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference in this Clause 11.3, in which case Clauses 11.3 to 11.5 shall apply.
  3. The arbitral tribunal shall consist of one (1) arbitrator appointed by us. The seat of the arbitration shall be Singapore. The language of the arbitration shall be English. Any award of the arbitral tribunal shall be made in writing and shall be final and binding on the parties from the day it is made. The parties undertake to carry out the award without delay.
  4. Each party irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore to support and assist any arbitration pursuant to this Clause 11.4 including, if necessary, the grant of interlocutory relief pending the outcome of the arbitration. Nothing contained in this provision shall be construed to limit or preclude any party from bringing an action in any court of competent jurisdiction for the purpose of enforcing any such awards issued pursuant to this Clause 11 or from seeking conservatory or interim relief. The parties agree that the arbitral tribunal shall have the power to order on a provisional basis any relief which it would have power to grant in a final award.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. These T&Cs constitute the entire agreement between the Participant and the Organiser regarding participation in this Competition and supersede all prior negotiations, representations, agreements, and understandings between the parties, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof.
  2. If any provision of these T&Cs is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified or deleted to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect without impairment.
  3. The Participant may not assign, transfer, or delegate their rights, obligations, or interests under these T&Cs to any other person or entity without the prior written consent of the Organiser. The Organiser may assign its rights and obligations under these T&Cs without Participant consent.
  4. The failure of the Organiser to enforce any provision of these T&Cs or to exercise any right hereunder shall not constitute a waiver of such provision or right and shall not affect the Organiser’s ability to enforce such provision or exercise such right in the future.
  5. The Organiser reserves the right to update or modify these T&Cs at any time by providing written notice to all registered Participants. Continued participation in the Competition following such notice constitutes acceptance of the modified T&Cs.
